Why Not >10-Minute Time Out to Edit Posts?

Other forums like Audionirvana, Audioasylum, Audiophilestyle, AVS, AV forum, What's Best, Audiocircle and/or others allow much longer time-outs for editing. Is there a reason why it's only 10 minutes here?

Most message services give you about 15 minutes and usually 5 edits. That's standard. Do you need something like that here?
