It does here, it did back there. The safe place to get the link is in the post number. Like this is post #21
Many of us are used to grabbing the link out of the browser address bar. But that doesn't work well here.

The attached picture links are linked with HTTPS, but the website doesn't provide an HTTPS connection, therefore they don't show up in post #1 and #5, the pictures can be opened up if the 'S' from HTTPS is removed, ie. HTTP.

I just looked at the image links. Were these links to the old forum gallery? I know there have been problems there.

I don't know: I don't remember where I posted them from, and I don't know where to find my gallery (does it still exist?)

The gallery didn't make it over. :( I had images there because it was an easy way to place images inline using the old software.
I'll check with Jason, he will know if those links are (or were) internal.

Sorry I didn't understand, the initial post #14 was made 2002 so the link added in that post can't point to a post made around 2005 unless the poster is a clairvoyant.

That's right, but the new thread numbers in URLs were added during the December 2021 migration... Now it coincides with an old PostID# because the old URL is being misinterpreted.
